My birthday treat was at Northcote Manor up near Osbaldeston, it's chef is Nigel Hawarth, who carries a Michelin star.
I don't know how well you can read this, there are a couple of things on there that were different. The liver was actually sweetbreads, a new experience for both of us and one we aren't entirely convinced by! The Roedeer course was actually lamb, and it was insanely tasty! We also didn't have the wine, something we would do another time but we felt we have enough of that coming up. The service and surroundings were beautiful and it was an amazing meal and experience, one we plan on repeating at other highly rated/Michelin starred establishments!
