What's the damage?

Not only have I neglected my blog for the past few days, I have totally neglected my diet and myself! 

I was out with Nic and Lisa from work, we were doing some pre Y-not festival planning, unfortunately, copious amounts of Pims and cocktails later with a few Guinness in to boot; I can't actually remember if we planned anything! Cheesy chips were also the order of the evening, not a good addition but very, very yummy!

Tom came and picked me up at 7am! As we were off for breakfast with his family in Lincolnshire for engagement celebrations and wedding discussions, exciting stuff.

I was careful to manage my recovery to avoid the usual acid issues so no bread, no sausage and plenty of chewing and water! Mission accomplished, however we then went out to a big party and carried on drinking, which did nothing to please my stomach and we left fairly early after consuming copious amounts of hog roast supplied by Dunx, Tom's mate who runs Groovy Foods and rears his own free range pigs! Delicious 




We did manage to get some exercise in on the Sunday though. We cycled 18miles around Rutland water on this little beauty 


Was actually a lot easier than I thought it would be as the bike hire guy said that he didn't recommend it if you've been in a relationship for over 5years!! 

The only downside was that Tom has such a long body and broad back, that this was my forward view the whole way


Meant I got I merrily Tweet away whilst biking though! What a geek 😎

In conclusion, I gained 2lbs, not too horrific I don't think!
